After graduating from college I spent fifteen years in industry working mainly in book publishing as a Senior Designer winning awards for book and calendar design. I have also had stints in advertising and direct mail as Design and Production Manager.
For the past twenty years I have been in education teaching typography, graphic design and print production at degree level. I am also External Examiner for degree programmes at three univerisites. I have lectured widely in the UK and also Europe and South Africa.
In 2000 I established The Spitfire Press which produces limited edition handset letterpress works including books, leaflets and posters.
