The Spitfire Press is a letterpress workshop specialising in short run commisions including stationery, posters, books, booklets and leaflets. Many items are available for sale and can be ordered from this site.
Founded by typographer and designer,
Jonathan Doney, the Press has established
a reputation for great, original work that
is collected in many countries.
Jonathan is a Fellow of the International
Society of Typographic Designers, a member
of the Institute of Printing, and the Fine Press Book Association. He has recently been welcomed as a member to the Somerset Guild of Craftsmen (more about this in News). Jonathan has lectured and run workshops in typography and letterpress extensively both in the UK and abroad.
