CHRIS and REBECCA'S WEDDING

The eternal question is - what are the ingredients for a good marriage? Always food for thought. Ah! Food! Ingredients are normally listed on a tin, so that's where the idea started to develop. I adapted the visual language and usual wording found on tins to reflect the event. Discussing this with the happy couple, we arrived at suitable words which echoed their feelings and beliefs. The tins contained information for the great day, a badge, some party poppers and confetti. I wrote all the copy too! As it was a ring pull can, a cap was also sent so that everything would stay inside once opened. 'Save the Date/RSVP cards' followed the same style. At the request of the bride, bluebells were used to fit with the table decorations at the reception and the colour of the bridesmaid's dresses.

Printing by my good and reliable friends at Acorn Press, Swindon. 'Pressitin' tins by Tinware Direct, Bedford. Badges by Wee Badgers, Glasgow.
